Fen Folk is about the Fens, their folklore, history, eerie marshes, and stubborn beauty. We dig into the strange, the grim, and the ridiculous sides of Fenland life, half-forgotten myths, real bits of muddy defiance, things that probably should have stayed in the ground. This isn’t an academic project. It’s a slightly obsessive love letter to a weird, wet, wide-open landscape. Part research, part guesswork, part humour, part silly drawings that turned into something more. Folklore is just old gossip that refused to die, and we’re here to pass it on, fact, fiction, everything in between. Fen Folk exists to keep the weird alive, dig up what got buried, sometimes literally, and remind you the Fens are still happening whether anyone’s paying attention or not. For anyone who finds beauty in the bog and magic in the mist.
